EEG monitoring for OR and ICU

Introduction

Introduction

Narcotrend EEG Monitoring An electroencephalogram (EEG) is a recording of the electrical activity of the brain. EEGs can be used for non-invasive, continuous patient monitoring.

The Narcotrend®-Compact M and the Narcotrend® Module Select register, analyze and classify the EEG during surgery and in an intensive-care setting. The Braintrend® was developed specifically for registering and analyzing EEGs in neonatology and pediatrics.

Using EEG monitoring makes it possible to adjust the dosage of hypnotic substances as needed. This allows individually adapting the anesthesia and sedation to patients as well as optimizing the dosage of hypnotic substances. What sets the Narcotrend®-Compact M apart is that it performs EEG assessments adjusted for age, from newborns to old age.

For over 25 years, MT MonitorTechnik has been the manufacturer of the EEG system line the listed equipment forms part of, making them one of the most experienced manufacturers in the EEG monitoring industry.

Constant evolution, clinical research and exchanges with users worldwide are reflected in the user-friendliness of the products.
