The Narcotrend^®-Compact M is an EEG monitor that can be flexibly used in the OR or the ICU.

The primary indication for EEG monitoring in the OR is monitoring the depth of anesthesia. The Narcotrend^®-Compact M performs an automatic classification of the EEG during anesthesia.
 
Specific features of the Narcotrend^®-Compact M include:

• Automatic classification of the EEG, adjusted based on the patient’s age, including EEG classification during the first year of life
• Different diagrams, such as DSA and aEEG, to represent EEG parameters over the course of time
• Flexible electrode positions

Just like the Narcotrend^®-Compact M, the Narcotrend^® Module Select for Philips systems is used to monitor the patients’ cerebral function.

The Philips monitor displays original raw EEG signals (1 or 2 channel), the EEG classifications over time (trend, cerebrogram) as well as parameters calculated from the EEG (as numerical values). Moreover, there is an additional window to display EEG parameters as numerical values.

The Braintrend^® is a 2-channel aEEG monitor with a variety of applications in neonatology and pediatrics.
The EEG frequency composition over time is displayed as a DSA (Density Spectral Array).
The Braintrend^® can, for instance, be used to monitor premature infants, neonates or children with seizures.
